We are looking for a VP of Customer Success to lead our dynamic and growing Customer Success Team.

 

About the Role:

 

Customer Success Strategy & Leadership

  • Build and execute Tango’s global CS vision, aligned with investor growth targets.
  • Lead a team of Directors, CSMs, Renewals, and CS Ops to cover ~500 accounts (200 Enterprise).
  • Implement scalable processes across onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion.

 

Retention & Expansion

  • Deliver >93% Gross Retention and 110%+ NRR by 2027
  • Partner with Account Managers to drive systematic upsell/cross-sell across Tango’s modules.
  • Ensure all accounts have a Joint Impact Plan and participate in quarterly Impact Reviews.

 

Customer Advocacy & ROI

  • Create a structured advocacy program to expand referenceable customers to 25%+. Standardize ROI storytelling to demonstrate impact by customer segment.
  • Build a customer community and education function with Product.

 

Operational Excellence

  • Deploy a health scoring model to track risk, adoption, and growth opportunities.
  • Professionalize renewals forecasting and eliminate surprise churn.
  • Partner with Product and Services on support, training, and implementation.

 

About You: 

 

  • 12+ years of experience in Customer Success
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record driving NRR improvements and expansion revenue in a PE or high-growth SaaS environment
  • Deep expertise with CS frameworks (SPICED, Impact Reviews, Joint Success Plans)
  • Strong operator with experience implementing CS tech stack and tooling
  • Experience building & evangelizing learning management/University platforms
  • Executive presence to influence boards, investors, and enterprise customer executives
  • Private equity experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

Base pay offered is contingent on qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is just one piece of the full compensation structure offered at Tango. If this pay range is outside of your expectations, we still encourage you to apply and have a conversation with us.

 

Base pay offered for this position is: $180,000 - $220,000
