We are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer in our dynamic and growing Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Engagement & Discovery

  • Own the technical pre-sales motion for assigned enterprise opportunities, partnering with Account Executives from discovery through close.

  • Lead discovery workshops to understand customer business objectives, current-state processes, technical environment, and success criteria across Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Workplace, Retail, and Public Sector stakeholders.

Solution Design, Demos & Validation

  • Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to industry use cases (IWMS, ENS, lease management, transactions, space/occupancy, reservations/desk booking, visitor management, reporting/analytics).

  • Build solution narratives and value hypotheses that connect Tango capabilities to measurable outcomes (portfolio visibility, compliance, cost reduction, space utilization, operational efficiency).

  • Translate customer requirements into solution architectures, including configuration approach, data needs, integrations, security considerations, and implementation assumptions.

  • Support customer proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilots, defining success criteria, managing timelines, and synthesizing results.

Deal Support, Documentation & Handoffs

  • Partner with Professional Services and Product to shape implementation approach and scope; contribute to Statements of Work (SOWs), change-order assumptions, and high-level project plans when needed.

  • Respond to technical sections of RFPs/RFIs, including security, architecture, product capabilities, and integration details.

  • Ensure a high-quality handoff from Sales to Implementation/CSM, documenting solution assumptions, risks, and customer expectations.

Demo Assets, Enablement & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain and evolve demo environments, demo scripts, and reference architectures; ensure accuracy with the current product roadmap and releases.

  • Provide competitive and field feedback to Product and Marketing; identify gaps, emerging requirements, and differentiation opportunities.

  • Enable internal teams (Sales, CSM, Partners) through knowledge sharing, best-practice playbooks, and coaching on product positioning.

About You:

Pre-Sales & Deal Leadership

  • 6+ years in Sales Engineering / Solutions Consulting / Pre-Sales for B2B SaaS, with meaningful experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.

  • Demonstrated ability to run discovery, map workflows, and build tailored solution designs across business and technical audiences.

  • Strong demo craftsmanship: storytelling, objection handling, and ability to translate features into business value.

  • Comfort with documentation and written responses (RFP/RFI), including security questionnaires and architecture narratives.

  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate CRM/SE notes.

Technical & Domain Expertise

  • Working knowledge of enterprise SaaS architecture concepts (multi-tenant SaaS, APIs, SSO/SAML/OIDC, data imports/ETL, integrations, security controls).

  • Experience with business applications in one or more of: IWMS, energy & sustainability, corporate real estate/lease administration, facilities management, workplace/space management, retail store development/lifecycle, or public sector asset/portfolio management.

Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills (virtual and on-site), including workshop leadership.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Services; ability to influence without authority.

  • Willingness to travel for customer/prospect meetings, executive presentations, and industry events.

  • Provide competitive and field feedback to Product and Marketing; identify gaps, emerging requirements, and differentiation opportunities.

  • Enable internal teams (Sales, CSM, Partners) through knowledge sharing, best-practice playbooks, and coaching on product positioning.

  • Ensure a high-quality handoff from Sales to Implementation/CSM, documenting solution assumptions, risks, and customer expectations.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., AWS/Azure fundamentals, Salesforce, solution architecture, project management).
